Kyiv - (AFP):
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced Thursday, during a visit to Kiev, that the European Union will support Ukraine in its war against Russia "as long as necessary."
"We can never match the sacrifice made by the Ukrainians," von der Leyen said at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but "what we can say is that you will find your European friends by your side as long as necessary."
