Wanes - (Reuters):
The Tunisian government and the Tunisian General Labor Union, the country's main labor union, signed an agreement on Thursday on raising public sector salaries and increasing the minimum wage, but they did not announce any other agreement on economic reforms.
The agreement between the government and the union on wages, subsidies and the fate of state-owned enterprises is seen as necessary to secure an IMF loan, which in turn could open the door to more foreign financial aid.
